My daughter is pregnant. She's 17, and what is making this hard, is she got pregnant before menstruation. I understand that what has happened, she should of started a period this month, or last month, but got pregnant instead. We took her to E R on July 4, she had a HCG level of 976 and they did an ultrasound, one of the in vaginal ones and could not find any evidence of pregnancy. That concerned them and they scheduled another one for the 10th. On the 10 they did find an embryonic sac they called it. She does not have an appointment with our OB until August 14, so we're hoping maybe one of you gals can help us with a calculated due date. Thanks so much, Mary
I'm confused... do you mean that she got pregnant before getting her period for the first time?? that's cool. lol. My health teacher said it could happen but I never actually thought I would see it..
Or do you mean that she just isn't sure when she was due for her next period?
Either way, if her levels were in the 900's, she was likely about 2.5 weeks from conception.. which would have put the first day of her last period at about 4.5 weeks before july 4th.. or about june secondish. (and even if she'd never had a period.. she still would have ovulated at about the same time as that cycle to put her in those brackets for HCG levels)
Either way.. that puts her due about march 7th of 2008.
That's very vague because the levels are not exact during the beginning.. there's a broad range that they can be.
Yeap, that's what I meant. The girl is 17 and has never seen a period. And now she's pregnant. I've had her to our family dr twice over it who said that it was no big deal until she turned 18. So now we've got a unplanned pregnancy. We're dealing, but just confused on when the little one will be here. So, now you've "seen it" Yeah, I know it's odd. What are the odss, huh??
