How often are babies born on their due date?
Or give or take a few days??
Also how accurate are they when they base your Due date by ultrasound?

Well with my son he was born 2 days before his due date. With my daughter she came 10 days before her due date.

Well they said that my daughter was to be due right at the end of july (this month) by the ultrasound. But the tech was wrong, i just have small babies. With my son and the ultrasound the tech was right on target. It just depends on the tech you see.

only 5% of babies are actually born on the date you are due. its impossible to be 100% accurate, so they give you a general estimate. first babies usually take longer as your body hasnt done this before and takes longer to get ready.

I agree with the rest of the ladies, very few women go into labor on their due date. I think a lot of women go late more than early.

I was due on July 17th (I think) and I wasn't born until August 1st (2 weeks late) and my sister was due on July 30th and was born on August 20th (3 weeks late).
With Heather she was induced 3 times and it never took! Heather eventually came on her own.

Oh, I forgot to add that my little brother was 6-7 weeks early.

Have you tried jumping up and down really hard?...lol..

I know some people think that you can start labor early some how, I just never figured out or tried to do this. Although I think intercourse helped the first one...

Joshua was 4 days early. I think statistically most first time moms go over their due dates, but don't quote me on that.
