I have had numbness on the left side of my body I am almost into my 3rd month, my doctor said she has heard of it being pregnancy related but I have never heard of this before. Anyone know anything about it?
I have numbness in my left leg. My doctor said it is due to the baby sitting on a nerve. Perhaps that is what is happening to you? It sounds pretty serious. I suggest talking further with your doctor about it. I hope it's nothing bad!
I've had really terrible numbness in both my hands since about 3 months (especially when I lay down). Apparently it is carpal tunnel made much much worse because of the lack of blood flow to my hands. From what the doc said, numbness in certain areas, or even an entire side of your body is very common, even early on, because blood flow is restricted so much (it's all going to help build baby). BUT, I would still talk to your doctor, just in case it's something more serious.
