Hi all, I just have a quick question.... I went to my dr.'s the other day for a regular check up/exam to get birth control- i have been to this same doctor for over 5 years-when she did her check up on me-she asked me if i had been exercising-i said no, and she said well why is your stomach so hard?-i said =well ive been eating healthier... and she said that, that would not make your stomach get hard... So, the other day i told my friend, and she asked me if i was pregnant?... I have been off birth control for over 4 months [i took a break cause i have been on them for 5 years and was told it was good to take a brake every once in a while], and it could be possible-but i was wondering if that happens during pregnancy? My period was due actually yesterday-so i am not sure what to do... for the past 3 months ive had a period-but they've only lasted for maybe 2 days-i think/thought this was because i got off the birth control please-but now im having second thougs...Please advise. Thank you.

The only thing you can really do it take a test. My pregnant but my stomach isnt hard. Get a test and take it first thing in the morning. Good luck

My tummy didn't get hard until I was much further along... like 7 to 8 months. As what was said above... take a test and then you'll know for sure.

I agree take a test and then you will know.

Didn't your dr. ask if it was possible that you were preg? Usually they ask that when you go in for birth control. They will usually do a blood test then before prescribing the birth control.

Good Luck. Please let us know how everything turns out.

See- I thought so too- but after i thought about it for a while-i remember that after she felt my belly- she gave my (sorry) -physical exam, and she said she thinks she accidently started my period for me- cause i told her i was due any day for my period... however, when i got up and left- there was nothing there-i dont know what she was talking about..so i think thats why she wasn't concerned about it..... but i am definitely leaning towards buying a test.i mean, i am late..
