Me & my boyfriend are currently not using condoms, or birth control. I do not want to get pregnant right now, and not for at least a few years. We have been having sex for a week (maybe 5 times??)

How safe is it to..... Have my boyfriend take his d*ck out right before he does the deed? That's what we have been doing lately.

The reason why we are not using the pill or the patch is because I have to wait untill I get my next period before I can start using the patch. I had my first period since I had Joshua about 3 weeks ago, but I don't expect to get it back for at least anouther week.

Im sure it helps slightly but thats not a fool proof method! You might want to buy condoms because once you go on the pill/patch again for the first month you are still supposed to use another method.

You can still get pregnant if he pulls out...there are sperm in pre-cum. If I were you I would get some condoms.

Pulling out is only 60% effective. If you're so worried about getting pregnant then just don't have sex until you are able to get on birthcontrol. You just had a baby pretty sure he can cool it down for a lil while.

You could very well get pregnant. Put it this way...which is worse--having your SO wear a condom for a month or getting pregnant and having irish twins?

Well, that's the way my fiance and I used to do things (pull out before), and I got pregnant...

Same thing happened to me....he "pulled out" and here I am 22 weeks pregnant. I was on the patch, too, it had not been staying on me right. So I wasnt sure I was all that safe. So thats why we used the "pull" out method. But no luck.

Honestly and everyone may not agree with me, but I don't think the pull out method is that bad.
My SO and I used that method for over a year and when I became pregnant it was b/c he didn't pull out.

and that's were the problem is, if it's done correctly which means he pulls out completely before he cums then it's pretty safe. but alot of times thats hard to do and depends on his control

another thing is since you just had a baby you are extremely fertile. so you can become pregnant easily.
so I probably wouldn't suggest that method for right now.

Thats what me and my b/f were doing and i am now 11wks pregnant I think if you dont want to get pregnant use condoms and birth control pills. That is the only way to be sure and even that is not full proof.

This question was very strange to me, seeing as you just had a baby you would think you would be a bit more smarter, guess not,JMO. Of course you can get pregnat and like someone else said you are very fertile right now. I suggest buy some condoms or dont have sex.

i would def use some sort of b/c because you def dont want to pregnant again this soon after giving birth.

if using condoms is a nono. i kno i hate them and so does my husband then try another method like a diaphram and spermicide before you can start the patch. a friend of mine got pregnant from pulling out so it's not fool proof.

i have even just used spermicidal foam before i met mike and went on the pill and worked for me but the effectiveness isnt as high as a condom or oral b/c.

good luck.
