I just started bleeding very lightly a few hours ago and I am worried that I might have a miscarriage. Is spotting normal?

what kind of spotting is it? (red, brown, pink?) yes.. to a certain extent it can be VERY normal.. I had quite a bit with my daughter.. but definitely something worth calling the doctor about..

for the record? Red blood is what you need to be concerned (but still not panicked) about.

I woke up yesterday morning spotting brown. I had about two quarter size spots in my panties so I'm wondering the same as you. I have called a dr tho because I haven't picked a doctor yet.

My bleeding is thin in consistency and dark brown in color.

That's good to hear! Brown is the kind to be least concerned about. It is dead blood.. so it could really be anything. It's definitely something I would still mention to your doctor, though.

My doctor's office just called me and rescheduled my appointment for tomorrow. Dr. Riviera has to deliver a baby right now.

I took a home pregnancy test last night and it was positive. However, the bleeding has gotten worse today. So now I don't know what to think.

Thanks. I guess our baby knew that we weren't ready to be parents yet.

I don't even have an ultrasound picture to remember it by. My first doctor's appointment was yesterday at 2:40 p.m. I was going to have an ultrasound on Monday, but now I guess I will be having a D & C instead.

Chris took me to the hospital last night, but they said that I would have to wait 45 minutes to get to triage, and several hours to get treated, so we went home. I just wanted to borrow a thermometer so that Chris could take my temperature. I hope I don't have a fever, which would indicate that I have an infection.
