I just found out a couple days that for sure I am pregnant. Probably between 4-6 weeks pregnant. I have been having some major cramping and am wondering if this is normal. The Doctor said not to worry about it, but I have to wonder. There is no bleeding, so they say i am not mis carrying, but I am just curious is anyone else is experiencing this. It feels like period cramping but around 3 times worst in pain. It happens around once a day and lasts about 15 minutes.
This can be completely normal! If this is your first baby your body has a LOT of changing to do and stuff starts getting shifted around right away! This is my 3rd and I still get it. A lot of times honestly the worst pains are from gas. Your body makes a lot more of it now!
When I first wondered if I was pregnant there was some cramping, and though it was not much like the excruciating menstrual cramps I was used to, I thought maybe I was getting my period, after all, and there was no baby, or I was miscarrying. Well, both were false. I'm now into my 8th week and I have the occasional belly cramp, but I can't tell anymore whether it's gas or my growing uterus. Either way, it's very normal. I was told to watch out for severe cramping and/or blood. Otherwise, you're just accommodating your growing baby.
