do you use time out as a punishment for your LOs? is it a time out chair or do they just stand in the corner? how often do you have to put them in time out?

we do time out here for both kids. we have them stand facing the wall. dd goes to time out often, daily..ds is still pretty young so he only gets time out if he trys to hit or throws something and we just walk him over to the wall and stand by him. they get one minute for every year of age.

Yes, their rooms actually. The kids get a time out every few days I would say. Often their punishment is just like stop playing whatever they're playing, lose the toy, etc.
