I took my two closely spaced kids to the doctor for check-ups last week, and my second child has now passed his older sister in height. He is 14 months younger and 1/4 an inch taller. No wonder people think they are twins! I wonder if she will ever catch up to him again. Maybe one day since they say girls hit their growth spurt first as teens.
Has this happened to anyone else yet? What are your size differences like?
Mine are a boy and a girl, otherwise I guess they could wear the same clothes and shoes. So much for handy-me-downs, lol.
I have heard of that happening, even three years apart! I am not sure yet but I will have a girl 18 months older than my son, so that will be interesting. I have heard a lot about the twins mistake though! Do yours play nicely together?
I just had my children weighed and meausured a week ago!
My daughter is in the 90% percentile for height and weight and my son is in the 10% for weight and height! My daughter is 19 months older than my son but people think they are 3 years apart! Everyone thinks my daughter is 5 and my son just turned 2, lol!

My girls are in the same size clothes, they used to be the exact same size but my daughter had a growth spurt a few months ago and is now a few inches taller than her, but they do get asked if they are twins a fair bit, My eldest is a size uk9 shoe and my youngest daughter is a uk8 they are the same kind of build aswell.
