IF we have another I do want my kids close. I have a 9 month old now. I just have a hard time thinking about "starting over". My son had/has attachment issues and I don't know that I could handle doing that all over again.
Thoughts?
I started a blog about "breaking" attachement and how I'm not ok with doing that to my child. It's at lifeisintense on Wordpress if you're interested.

Help! How did you get over the hurdle of "starting over"???

Mine will be 22 months apart. I chose to have them that close so it wouldn't feel like I was starting over, I would still be Close to the baby stage so I wouldn't get that taste of freedoms before going through it again lol. I had my son and daughter 8 years apart and that was "starting over"

My first 2 are 14.5 months apart but we didn't plan to have them that close. My youngest is 16 months old and we are about to start ttc again. This time I just knew I wanted at least 2 years between my 2nd and 3rd, I never want to do the 2 under 2 thing again. We decided because we want them all somewhat close, I don't want to get through the baby/toddler stage and then start it all over again with a new baby- so we will just do it all back to back, and I'm almost 30 and my husband almost 35 and we want to be done having babies soon.

I got pregnant with my daughter when first was 11 weeks old, wasn't planned but they ended up being 363 days apart! it was a great age gap. then my third came along under 2 years later so I had 3 under 3.. it was tough but doable my 4th came along nearly 3 years later, i had 4 under 5 and then my 5th came along in july of this year so now have 5 aged 8 and under, its tough but fun
