I just wanted to say that in my mind, before coming here to this debate forum, my view of Pro-Choice people were Pro-Abortion/Anti-Life.

I am glad that my view now has changed, thanks to the explanations from people like Blondie.

I am still Pro-Life, and don't see that ever changing.

But where before I thought people who were Pro-Choice had the mind set of "o well, you don't want the baby, just abort it", I understand now that a lot of times, and probably more so than not, that is not the case. Some pregnant mothers honestly, truly feel in their hearts that the child is better off not being born.

Again, I still think abortion is wrong, but I now understand and accept that the pregnant mother is not just "murdering her child", she is doing what she thinks is best.

Now, for the girls who use abortion as a form of birth control. Or have multiple abortions because they don't know how to either use protection or keep their clothes on and their legs closed......those are the ones I have a problem with.

Aww I'm so glad that you feel that way! I think it's AWESOME that you are pro-life and not judgemental, I think we need more people like you around here to keep the debates balanced but not turn them into a flame war...
And FTR, I feel the same way about the "abortion as a form of BC types

That was really a thoughtful post. I think people on both sides when they really look can see each sides point of view.
