Just need clarification: is this between saving myself (for my born child) or letting myself die and saving the unborn child?

I am not sure why someone would have to choose between a born child and an unborn one.

My born, living, breathing, viable, self-sustaining children. They need me here with them, I would choose them without question or regret.

Born definitely!

I could see a situation where a mom is pregnant and has child(ren) already and one more child would lead to difficulties feeding everyone. Or perhas a mother with a high needs or special needs child becomes pregnant; the choice to terminate the pregnancy might be one made for the born child's life.

I can't answer because the question is a bit silly. There wouldnt be any situation where I would have to choose between the two.. so I won't!

You may feel it's a silly question but the truth is there are lots of abortions performed because the mom knows she can't afford the time, money and effort of another child because of her existing children. It's not motherhood that is the problem, it's the condition of it that is.

I thought I've been nice lately? Well.... except for a certain person who kept personally attacking me in one of the other threads. I know my reply was rather snippy...but warranted.

Whoa, huh? lol, I wasn't talking about you being rude Andrika, just people in general, whether they are pro-choice or pro-life doesn't have anything to do with it...at least that's what I was trying to say. I don't think you have been snippy...where were you snippy here?
[/b][/quote]

I know you weren't talking about me, but I had to put my two cents in lol.

Mommy1 was being really rude and attacked me in one of the other threads. I can't remember exactly which one it was though. I think my reply to her post was rather snippy... but maybe it wasn't? lol I'm really out of it, Joshua didn't go to sleep till midnight last night so I'm sleep-deprived!

But I do understand what you're saying. There's always some rude posts in the debates, but sometimes I think people aren't meaning to be rude, but are just being blunt, KWIM?
