I still have pretty much the same views on abortion, but I have much different opinions on the people who have them now---and it's all thanks to you ladies! Just wanted to let you know...Here's part of my response to a question about things I've changed my opinion on for my Child Psych class:

Quote:
There are a ton of things that I have changed my opinion on over the years. To name a few...

-I used to really look down on people who have had abortions. I didn't understand it. I thought it was horrible, and I never took the time to try to understand those people. I have since learned that a lot of people really struggle with the decision to have one, and many regret it for the rest of their lives. So instead of passing judgement, I now take the time to listen to their side, and actually feel sad for them. I still have very strong opinions regarding it, but I would no longer judge someone for having one(well, unless they used it for birth control, frequently).

-I realize that until I have walked in someone else's shoes, I can't judge them for anything they do. Things that I have said I would never do, I have done. I'm not proud of those decisions, but it made me realize that I don't know what other people are going through, and I have no right to look down on or judge them.[/b]
