Hi all I've noticed that my 7 year old has a scent that I originally thought was due to her not wiping properly. Well, I was wrong, she has discharge. Now, I know it's normal for all girls and women to have this but how can I help my 7 year old with this? She has told me that sometimes at school she notices her panties are wet but she didn't urinate. She said that it bothers her a little bit which I understand. She knows that it's just all part of being a girl but I don't think she's ready for using panty liners yet.....she's still just in 1st grade. Any advice? I know she has no infections or anything of that nature as her doc said she's fine.
Hmmm... I don't know. I have 5 girls and none of them seem to have an issue with discharge. Not even my 13 year old. My 7 year old wipes A LOT. Sometimes it gets ridiculous. I never considered it being discharge because it's usually only after she goes potty. Guess I should ask her if she feels wet any other time.
