I am just sitting here waiting for my doc office to open up at 930. I did my kick counts last night. He did do his 10 in an hour but after that i didn't feel him AT ALL!! He normally moves most of the night, so 4 am rolls around and still nothing, so i get up drink some OJ lay down for about an hour or so and still nothing. I get on the phone to L & D and he starts moving a little bit more. So i tell the nurse that ( I think he was getting ready to do shift change) and he says to drink clear fluids and to call my doc?? yea at 530 am...sure my doc will be there.
He is moving around a little bit now, not his normal hard kicks, still thinking i am going to call and see what they say. Anybody else had this happen??
UPDATE!!!
Talked to my nurse and she wants me to go in and get checked....will update later...off to get dressed...
UPDATE!!
At first they could not find the heartbeat, which scared the crap out of me...then they tried listening a little higher up...lil man has turned breech on us. but he has plenty of time to turn back around. The nurses said to come in anytime i need to!

Somedays her movements arent as strong. I wouldnt worry as long as the baby is still moving but if you feel better going in then go in.

Owen has quiet days. My OB told me that during growth spurts he will have quiet days. Our pattern is kind of 3 big movement days then 1 or 2 quiet days. I'd definitely get it checked out. Please keep us posted!

I have periods of time that I don't feel him move much, then others when he goes crazy.
cold water and or sugary stuff usually gets me a response.

My little guy is also having a very quite day. He did do his 10 kicks this morning so i'm not to worried. Give you OB a call, the least they can do is have you go for a u/s to see if everything is okay. Hope things turn out great for you, it can be very scary.

I had a day last week where I was close to calling my Dr. I was feeling some movements, but they were very few and far between. Maybe I should have called but I felt like I was just worrying needlessly. The next day was an extremely active day so I knew all was well. I think your instincts will certainly let you know if something is wrong. I'm sure your baby is just fine... it's probably just one of those days.

I don't count but I know so far this week he's alot calmer than usual. I do feel him move though but I think he's growing. I know I'm more tired as well so maybe he is too...... When he doesn't move I give little taps on my belly or rub it lightly then I feel him, but then I feel guilty that I'm not letting him rest up.... LOL there is just no stop to the worry!!

I'm sure everything is OK but it's best to be sure, even if it's just to calm your nerves. I've noticed that my baby goes through different phases too. He'll be super active for a few days and then not so much for a few days. Just as I start worrying he'll start kicking up a storm!

I felt like that last night too. Sunday he was really active and monday he must have been tired. It is really scary not to feel them because thats how you know they are ok in there.

i barely do kick counts and just pay attention to it on a daily basis.. like "mathiues been quiet tday... up there he goes!!!"... babies have their lazy days just like us. and when babies go through growth spurts they sleep a lot, even in utero... plus. i kept my doppler so i can just pop that on and take a listen when he is quiet.. normally i find he is sleeping (heart beat if perfect.. but doesnt move around.)

Gabrielle has quiet days where she doesn't move as much mixed with very active days where she moves all the time. It's normal, I do worry about it sometimes and I will listen in with the doppler and when I do that it gets her mad and she starts moving like crazy :-) I am sure when they put the monitor on you he will start bustin a move in there :-) KUP
