Yay for a good appt !!!!!

Jaxson had dilated renal pelvises at his 20wk US but that had resolved by his 28wk US...and they said it wasn't that big of a deal anyways as long as amniotic fluid levels were ok.

Are they going to recheck your placenta placement at 35 wks or so? I would think that if it could migrate up that it could also migrate down...

Oh, BTW: I am so jealous you have a midwife and get to do a home birth! There aren't any midwives where I live and no one does home births

Glad everything is going well! I'm very envious of your midwife & plan to homebirth and I really look forward to cheering you on and reading your birth story. I don't think any of my nurses/ OBs have ever even once mentioned the word placenta so it's neat to hear so much about yours and I'm glad you're in the know with what's going on.

I will probably ask for another ultrasound on the rare chance my placenta decides to move down instead of up. I don't want to be rushing to the hospital all freaked out in the middle of labor.

I think if the doctors don't mention the placenta, it's a good thing Means everything is fine and it's in a good place.

Sounds like a great appointment. Wish for your sake that placenta was just a cm or two higher so you felt more confident about your shot of a vaginal birth...here's hoping the midwives all come to agreement that it is safe for you!
