I heard about this on our local news this morning. I didn't realize it was happening tonight! Just watching the couple minutes of it I have is kinda making me dread labor. It looks so long and boring and all the fuss from the nurses! Ugh.

Since she had an epidural things have slowed down. Her b/p is high now so fortunately they kicked out visitors and turned out the lights. She's at 8 cm now. I feel like I'm going to end up staying up until the baby is born. My labors were boring. I slept a great deal during both of them without an epi. We played cards and watched talk shows.

It keeps scrolling saying she's 10cm and should be pushing soon... so here's hoping. If she gets like crazy screaming etc. I won't watch it... I don't need to see anything 'negative' etc

I am bored freaking push already.
Now I know how my mother felt while she sat with me for 29 hours of labour lol.

at least when you're the one in labour time passes quickly.

I hope she doesn't do anything to scare anyone. I'm sure she'll push soon. I don't know if they turned down her epi but they are waiting for her to feel pressure. At least she's in good spirits.

that makes me kinda mad. My doctor refused to let me wait till I felt pressure so I ended up with over 2 hours of pushing and a c-section.

I wish I was allowed to wait like her.

Oh dang it I missed it! I read about this a day and a half ago and didn't realize she was going to have the baby so soon. I would have liked to have watched it. Oh well...plenty of other birth videos online.

I really enjoyed it. Of course I cried when the baby was born. She hardly had to push at all!
