School

I just signed up for classes next semester and was wondering if anyone else plans to take classes. The first day of classes is my due date, but I know if I don't go this semester, then I'll just quit. I'm taking one online class, and either an independent study class or possibly one that is on Monday nights. I'm terrified of doing this, but I know its the only way.

So anyone else as crazy as I am?

Not me! There's no way I'd be able to focus on school with a newborn. Especially an independent study class b/c I just don't think I'd make the time if I didn't have to be in class specific hours. I think if you're super dedicated and determined to getting it done then you'll be able to make it work though!

I wont be taking classes next semester but you are not crazy in my classes now I have two girls that are taking due any day now and they are still taking 2 classes. The online class would be alot easier to take with a new born as long as you set aside some time to do your work

ITA it'll be really important to set aside a certain time frame everyday that someone else will watch LO and you can focus on school. it'll be hard, but you can do it!

I'm currently taking 2 classes online and will be taking at least 1 class next semester as well. I did have to get a doc note so I won't be penalized for not being at our on campus meeting on Dec 5th...guess I'll deal with next semester's meetings when they come as my university is 2hrs away.

I'm currently working on my masters in nursing...What's everyone else going to school for?

I already have a useless degree in Psychology so I'm going back for an Elementary Education degree. I should mention that the classes I'm taking are by no means hard. One will be a freshman level geography class and the second will either be a math class I've heard is super easy or a teaching P.E. health class, that I hope won't be too hard!

I am going to take next semester off, I am just doing one class this semester, psychology and its a lot of learning and reading.. its been very hard.. ( hence I havent been on here a lot) but so far I have an A in class.. with one more test to go.. its a lot of work, and being a single mom I just feel I need a break in Jan!! Good luck to all you ladies back in school.. its very difficult..

I am taking 4 classes at school right now which is 1.5 hrs each way but I almost done this semesters. Next semester I am taking 1 online class to keep me up to speed if not I will get too comfy and out of sync.... I wish I could take more but I really want to enjoy my son and I felt this was the best compromise. Good luck to everyone next semester.....!!
