Hi everyone!
I'm still stuck in the hospital but now that my mind has cleared the mag fog a bit I wanted to get on and give a mini update.
Miss Lily Rose is HERE!

Just like her mama, she was born on her due date! January 15th, 2010 weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces & 19.5 inches long!

She's even got a good bit of light brown(ish) hair!
I have been going over all the details of my birthing time over and over again trying to keep them clear so I can write a good birth story when I get home. My mind is still in a fog from the magnesium sulfate so not only am I trying really hard not to forget anything, I'm also trying pretty hard at writing this post so that it makes some kind of sense.
Better to try to keep it short & sweet then. haha
Basically, my birthing time went better than I could have hoped, all things considered. I am really really proud of myself for doing it without pain meds.
I spent so much time focusing on my pregnancy, and my baby, and my birthing time that it never once occured to me that recovery could be such a NIGHTMARE.
Thank you to all the girls who I've been texting for deciphering what my messages say and posting updates. I seriously feel like I can't even form a coherent thought now, so I can only imagine what kind of weird things I attempted to type out to you all. haha.
I'm currently doing okay, and hoping to go home Monday morning?

They are reluctant to say because they kept making promises about when I could shower, or when I could take my IV out, or blah blah and then my health would decline and it wouldn't happen. But right now I seem to be doing okay, I haven't passed any softball sized clots in several hours and at last check my BP was down to 136/91! My fever came back down too. I managed to avoid having a blood transfusion!
Lily has been fantastic from the get go. They were hoping for 1 wet or dirty diaper within 24 hours and she has given them I think 5 dirty diapers and 3 wets! I have been BFing her at least every two hours and she's doing great. Still waiting on my milk to come in. She had a slight temperature but we unwrapped her from her 'burritto' and it came down and that's the only 'issue' she has had the whole time. She hasn't left our sight. (well I'm having a lot of double vision, so it makes it difficult. oooh! lame joke! haha)
Anyway, I just wanted to post that and I may try to put some pictures up later on tonight. I hope this post makes sense. I'll do a super long birth story later.
ETA:
Here's the first photo of her, just as soon as they put clothing on her and had her cleaned up. I actually hadn't even held her yet at this point. And she's so awake & alert!
