Ok, so we went out of town over the weekend. We had a good trip...Grace was a trooper! She slept all the way there, and despite having a cold, she did very well overall. And we did pretty well packing, for our first time traveling with a baby. But, we forgot one very vital thing: the SwaddleMe!

I had sort of been thinking about trying to go without it one day to see how it went. But this was not when I planned to do it. We just completely forgot it! Of course, I'll blame DH...he was the one who packed up the Pack n Play, and the SwaddleMe was in there...he had to get it out of there to fold up the PnP. Anyway...going unswaddled was a complete failure! She would fall asleep, but woke up all.night.long. We ended up with her in bed with us both nights, and even then she didn't really sleep for any extended period of time.

It was so nice last night for her (and us) to get some sleep! We'll definitely be using it for a while longer!

ouch....this scares be because chase is thisclose to outgrowing his miracle blanket and i do not know what we are going to do when that happens.....

Grace is in the small SwaddleMe still, but I really need to get some large ones. They have something called SwaddleMe Graduates or something like that. I wonder if they are bigger. But I don't know what we'll do when she outgrows them! Hopefully by then we can get her weaned from them somehow.

We never used a swaddleme, Ryker cannot stand for his feet to be confined.

we're still swaddling too....the Summer brand makes Large and XL swaddlers.

Oh no. We will still be using ours for awhile too. We had a night like that awhile ago. After that night, I was make sure his are clean.

We still have to swaddle too...he won't sleep if he isn't swaddled!

Emily never really liked to be swaddled - esp if her hands are confined. She had her hands out and up by her face from the moment she was born. She sleeps in her PNP with just a blanket over her and she does fine.

I don't know what to do. Major finally figured out the back to tummy roll over the weekend and DH found him in his crib this morning, on his tummy, SWADDLED! I think tonight I am going to try the sleep sack. I've noticed he sleeps really well unswaddled on his side but he never stays on his side. I know tons of babies tummy sleep but it scares the heck out of me! I don't plan to get much sleep tonight.

I found Grace like that one night last week...in the SwaddleMe on her tummy! But luckily she hates being on her tummy, so she will cry & want to be flipped back over, so I'm sure she wasn't like that for long. But yeah...we're going to have to figure something out soon.

I'm glad you posted this b/c I may be going out of town soon and I totally would have forgotten to pack that, and we swaddle her every night!
