Had a very vivid dream about feeding CJ last night.
He was reaching for food on my plate- we were not actually starting BLW yet in the dream.
So I gave him greenbeans and green pepper strips from my plate, and my baby with no teeth devoured them in seconds!
I know that when we actually start, he will most likely throw it at me than eat it. But now I'm anxious to try something!!
I feel ya on the anxiousness! I put frozen apple in the little mesh bag thingy last night and gave it to Major and he didn't care for it. I tasted it and it tasted like mesh more than anything so I can't say I blamed him. If CJ scarfs down green pepper strips, I want pics and video!!
I was eating watermelon earlier and decided to share with Owen. I gave him some big pieces. He really really liked it. He was sucking all the juice out, then would get small bits off but didn't have a problem with it. What a mess though!! I can't wait to see all the babies eating. The faces he makes are hilarious.
BLW scares me I've been feeding Jenna solids since 4 months (all begginer baby food stuff) and recently I've been giving her slices of veggies and fruit and I keep a close eye while she "chews" or sucks on them.
Yesterday I was visiting a friend and she served us grapes and I made Jenna taste them by cutting it in half, holding onto it and letting her suck the juice out. She was sucking so hard that she took the half grape in her mouth. OMG, I nearly had a panic attack and quickly put my finger in her mouth to reach for it. Luckily, she hadn't swallowed it. Totally a scary moment.
