hahaha tomorrow we are done with it!! She has bumped her little head for the last time. Although, I don't think the regular bumper would have saved her tonight. She was going to pull herself up and her hand slipped and her whole arm flew thru the slat and she smacked her face I was standing there while she did it, it was so sad!!!! She was ok after a snuggle, but she kept trying to get back up and almost did it again!!!! Nerve racking for mommy!

Awww poor baby!!!

They're soo curious, they just want to pop through anything and everything! The padded bumper will probably be better than the mesh one but it still doesn't guarantee 100% protection. I often find Jenna's leg and thigh going right through the railings. I tried to tie the bumper really tight but she still manages to pull it down so she can peak through lol

ETA: Love your siggie pic! Violet is soo adorable! Jenna has the same Ralph Lauren dress

We finally put his bumper on because of this. We hadn't even been using a mesh bumper before.

In my mind I read the thread title as Mesh FEEDER....so when I started reading the post, I was sooooo confused! LOL!

It's hard to let them bump themselves here and there, but they will be ok!!!
I have a difficult crib to use bumpers (solid wood on two sides---so there's no way to tie the bumper down on those two sides and that is super DANGEROUS.

BTW, we only use the mesh feeder with ice now. LOL!

Haha. Same here.

We use a regular bumper but Madison likes to let go and let herself fall backwards so she bumps her head a lot and the bumper doesn't always save her.

I agree! I put his regular bumper back in tonight because I am tired of him rolling over and bumping his head.

I have half off ... James NEEDS to see us or else he won't fall asleep... so I am sort of stuck ...but I am going to try to put it all in because he likes to stick his leg out the sides of the crib...
