I am so excited!!! My new Puppy will be here this afternoon. The breeder is awesome and takes pride in her standard poodles. Originally I was on the list for the current litter which was just whelped this past Sunday. I was waiting to see if Lilly (mom) was going to have any white females, well she didn’t! To my surprise Sylvia (the breeder) decided to offer me (after much thought) her prized girl that she decided to keep for herself (Show quality) from her last litter of standards. Of course I was shocked and honored. We were on her list for pick of the litter for 4 months we had to put down $500.00 deposit. Sylvia just got on the road to bring her here, she travels all over to deliver her dogs in person (she travels all over the country). Plus she shows her dogs as well (super busy lady lol). I hope Jax doesn’t go bananas, I am going to make sure they meet properly kennel to kennel so it doesn’t throw JAx or her into immediate shock.

She's so cute! What made the breeder change her mind? She's gorgeous. Wow you have a lot of energy. All those kids, a big house, a garden, gourmet cooking and a dog? I'm practically napping at the thought!

I am always wiped out by the end of the day! On the weekends the guys clean (dh and SS) and there are a lot of helping hands around here My SIL, SS, DH, Me and Halle (the 7 year old). Just as long as we stay up on all of the house chores the house is always tidy and clean sometimes we slip up but in general all gets done. Yup I am busy but I like it that way.
The breeder changed her mind because she knew this dog would be a perfect fit for my family plus we are going to have her trained to become a therapy dog (nursing homes, children’s hospital etc.)
GREAT choice in a breed! My sister used to own a Standard and we have had many in for obedience training...all but 1 have been super stars in training, very smart and eager to learn. LOVE their coats!
