Anyone's baby crawing really weird????

Jude's been crawling for a couple months, but he just started a new-type of crawling....he uses one leg to crawl and has the other leg up and bent...We watched him and this type of weird crawling gets him around faster....it's just so ODD looking!!!!

Anyone else???

I just got a video of him doing it....never uploaded a video before...gonna try tonight....

I'm not doing this right, ugh, I hope you can still see it....

Max just started crawling and exactly like that!!!
It's so... Weird!
I thought he was the weird one, hehe
It's this hand-hand-knee-FOOT thing!

Darius crawls like that a lot. When he first started crawling he'd have one leg straight out to the side, and the other in the normal position, and he'd hop around. It was so funny!! Although it looks really odd I take it as a sign that they want to be on their feet and will be soon!

Madison is doing the exact same thing! I thought she started doing it because it's easier to crawl in dresses that way but she does it all the time and she's so much faster!

For some reason it reminds me of a monkey, or chimp. I think they tend to move like that and probably because it is faster. How cute

Jaiden's not crawling yet, but he pulls himself up like he's getting ready to.

I lurk here now and then as my DS is Jan born. My older DD did this same thing just before she walked and I believe this is something they do when they get too good at crawling .

Oh good! I too thought Savannah was odd w/ her crawling technique. I contributed it to crawling on hard floors and maybe it hurt her 1 knee...I dunno! Glad to see so many others crawling the same way!
