As always, my boss. We have this customer who only comes to me for things now because he knows I am not a BS'er. So we refinance his house and do a loan for him to purchase an investment property. I do EVERYTHING from start to finish, she didn't even know the loans were in process. Commissions totalled over $5900. She tells me she is going to pay me some of the commission on them since I did everything and she walks into my office today with a check for $200. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS on an almost SIX THOUSAND DOLLAR commission. I've spent the last hour calling anyone and everyone who will listen to me b!tch about it. What a joke! I should have told her to shove her $200 up her big cow arse!

I know! If I were a loan officer, my commission split would have been 70% so I would have made over $4,000. I wasn't expecting that big of a split, but I was definitely hoping for more than $200. She's just a bad person.

Are you able to go out on your own or do you have to work under this boss?

Well the job I am hired to do, is not commission based and I am strictly a salaried employee. She is the loan officer and I am her loan processor so I always work under her. It was going to be out of the kindness of her heart that she paid me some commission on these loans, she wasn't required to. But I just can't believe she felt ok with only giving me $200 and keeping $5700 when she did absolutely NOTHING. I told DH during my rant session that I was going to try to drum up some business of my own to earn some more money and that I will never again go out of my way to help her clients in the way that I helped this one. I make pretty decent money, but I am not going to go above and beyond my job requirements when it is obviously not appreciated and I won't be compensated.

Well that's what I figured. I think if you're capable of doing the whole thing anyway maybe you should look into doing it for a commission. You got this client to go to you for everything didn't you? I actually get the most respect from my clients when I talk straight to them too. I wouldn't be doing someone like your boss any favours either. And even if you're making decent money everyone could use extra right? Unless the job is too stressful. Then I'd wait until baby's a bit older.

A lady we do web design for... She emailed DH this morning saying that I wouldn't know a good website if it bit me in the arse and then said that I don't belong in business. After that email, that she sent to just DH, she emails me asking for me to add content to her site! She got brass balls!

My MIL..as usual. She came over today & was saying she wants me to use my whole tax return this year to pay off my car that she had voluntarily repo'd, so it didn't hurt her credit. I can't believe the nerve of her, even after all of these years of her doing stuff like this. She was like, threatening us that if we didn't use our tax money to pay it off she was going to do this & that..I told her theres no way i'm doing it. She did this..she had it repo'd so she could have it cleared off her credit when she files bankruptcy, now she's saying she isn't going to do the bankruptcy & we need to pay off the car. Freaking nutcase,
