Monkey Bread I Recipe - Allrecipes.com
I made it last year for Christmas morning and omg, my kids went nuts over it. I just came across the recipe again and thinking maybe I should just make this our Christmas breakfast tradition......

The Monkey Bread looks good, but I don't like raisins so those would have to go! But the Gorilla Bread looks amazing Karen!!! I definitely bookmarked that one!!! Yummmmm!

love monkey bread.
speaking of monkey bread...a co-worker brought some in to work a couple years ago. her mother made it, and it was great. but she's very ditsy....and kept calling it "monkey balls". and people were like "ummm....". someone finally said "i think it's bread. monkey bread. not balls."

LOL @ Monkey Balls
Monkey Bread is one of the Christmas traditions we have had for as long as I can remember! My mom used to cook it (and other things) for Christmas breakfast and I cook it for my family now
I use pecans instead of walnuts and I don't use raisins. We LOVE it!

Looks yummy! I made something similar last year. It was frozen bread rolls, brown sugar, vanilla pudding and melted butter.

Yes. I've actually done it before. I cooked it partway, put it in the fridge overnight, and finished cooking it in the morning. I cooked it partway the night before because I was short on time, but if you had more time you could just cook the whole thing in the morning (and just add a little time due to it being cold). It turned out fine and you couldn't even tell I prepped it beforehand.

That's why I do this with frozen dough rolls. You leave it in the oven overnight and by morning the dough is just thawed and you're ready to go. Using refrigerated biscuits, I would prep the night before and keep it in the fridge overnight.

I've made this for Christmas breakfast using Rich's frozen rolls instead of biscuits. They defrost overnight and are perfect to be baked in the morning.
If you're using refrigerated biscuits, you could put it together the night before, refrigerate, and bake in the morning.
