If they both get up at different times of the night how do you get any sleep. I am going to have my sisters baby for a couple of days and I am not sure I can handle it. She is 21 months old. Give me some tips on how to handle two kids

Does she not sleep thru the night???

All 3 of my kids sleep thru, so I've never been up w/ more than one child at a time.

almost 2 years old and still not STTN! Wow, that would suck! Sorry I can't be any help....first DD is a total sleeper, so we've never had an issue with both of them up at the same time.

Good luck!

My kids are 4 1/2 yrs apart. But night time pretty much goes like this. 8pm movie/tv time for dd1 then I rock Morgan. By 9:30pm Ive put Morgan in the crib and turned of. Blairs TV. Morgan sleeps for about 2-4hrs in her crib. I pick up, take a shower, and relax. Once she cries I bring her to bed with me. Sometimes around 2am Blair comes and sleeps on our floor next to my side of the bed.
Its not something that would work for everyone. But I get sleep

Well she was sleeping through the night until her moma (my sister) got into some trouble and is now in jail so my mom is raising her but ever since she started staying with my mom she doesnt sleep through the night anymore. She is a very good little girl. So far it is going good. Wish me luck for tonight tho

If nothing else, I usually end up taking Merrick to bed with me and I nurse him while I sleep.

I accidently forgot to the turn my monitor back on one night...she was maybe 6 months at the time. Well when I heard her it was almost 2 hours past her normal time...oh she was one mad kid. That said I really felt refreshed. LOL I felt guilty also though.
