I know I've heard all about how it should be down b/c otherwise your poop particles and everything else go flying all over the bathroom... but I NEVER put it down to flush.
We did this thread on my other board and I was shocked at how many people DO put the lid down. So let's hear it ladies... yay or nay?

Hardly ever put the lid down. LOL. I've seen/read all about the poop spray flying in the air, so I always make sure my face in isn't around that area when I flush.

I put it down when I remember, but that doesnt happen often
BUT...now that J is in the process of potty training and gets all excited to flush, i'm teaching her that she MUST put the lid down before flushing cause she stands way too close to the toilet to reach the handle.

I leave it up even though I had heard about that before and it's totally gross. I just forget.

I usually leave it up. If Dashaun is flushing the tiolet I will put it down but he usually lifts it back up to check it out

Always, always down! Not only because of the gross poop particles, but keeping it down prevents the dogs from drinking out of it, which is also gross.
