So I know almost everyone is pregnant or TTC but for those of you who aren't, what birth control are you using?

I'm getting these big hemorrhagic cysts every other month and apparently getting on BC will stop them from happening? Ugh....I just hate hormones.

Condoms. That's all DH and I have used the past 10+ years. He keeps saying he's going to schedule a vasectomy but he keeps losing the number

I am not a fan of the pill or the IUD. I just haven't heard much good about the IUD.

Pulling out...so really, nothing. That's pretty much what we've been doing for the past several years, though. We used condoms for a while, bur DH hates them. I haven't been on hormonal BC since probably 2004 or 2005. But I'd do it if I had a good reason to.

Ya, J has a vasectomy so it feels extra annoying that I will have to start taking something. I haven't heard anything good about the IUD either so that's definitely not an option for me.

I was on the Nuvaring for a little while after my 1st m/c and I actually loved it. I only stopped taking it because my insurance didn't cover it and it was like $50 or $60 out of pocket and I just couldn't afford it. It might be an option now though.

Im on the Nuva Ring. It does the job, Im not pregnant. I dont love it though. Dh and I can both feel it during sex. And it hurts me sometimes to the point of stopping and changing position. I also have headaches on the week its out. And its slowly taking away my period. I take it out on Wednesday and dont start till Monday. I have one day that its more than spotting but the rest is spotting. I put a new ring in the following wednesday then my period is over Thurday. So 4 day light light bleeding. It makes me worry I could be pregnant and not know it.

You know you can take it out during sex....right? I think you can have it out for up to 3 hours.

I took Brevicon for many years without any problems or side-effects. I'm just so terrible at taking it on time that I'd get breakthrough bleeding for a couple of days several times a month that I seemed to be spotting or bleeding all month long. So I quit and we're using the pull and pray method. It's worked for us better than bc. DD was conceived while I was on the pill, after all.

Condoms. I should be on BC too, I also get cysts and they were a lot better when I was on BC but I am terrible about taking my pill and it messes with me too much, i've tried several different pills and haven't liked any.

Also tried the 10 year IUD and had horrible cramps with AF..I hated it. I have heard better things about the 5 yr one.
