I would love good family pics! Honestly, I've been putting them off for 2 years because of my weight. I don't want fat pictures. I need to just suck it up and get them done though. And then again once I've lost weight lol.
Speaking of pictures, I have all of our vacation pictures to organize. I managed to plug the camera in to upload them the other night but haven't done anything since! I seriously can't find even 5 minutes to sit in front of the computer!

Me neither! But we hardly have any family pics together so I am going to suck it up(literally! ) and get them done.

I want to ask on Facebook for a good local photographer recommendations but I have a few friends who bought cameras and think they're photographers but they take pictures horribly! They even have names for their business. I don't want to hurt any feelings so I just don't ask.

OMGoodness, tell me about it! I can't tell you how many friends I have who think they are photographers & have set up businesses. And I feel like I'd get the hairy eyeball for NOT letting one of them take our pictures, but some of them are just terrible!
I actually have let a couple of these friends take our pics before, and it has not turned out well, for the most part. One girl offered us free sessions to try to build her "portfolio" (a maternity session, and then an Easter session when Grace was an infant. The mat pics were ok. The pics of Grace were aweful! Bleh. But another friend took some family pics of us last year, and those turned out nicely. I do have one friend (who is actually a photographer by training & trade) who is AMAZING, but she lives sort of far away. I want to do family pics again soon...maybe I'll get around to setting it up one of these days.

I have 0 motivation right now. I'm at work and my stuff today is easy but I don't even feel like doing it. I just want to stare at my phone....or a wall.

I'm hungry. My lunch today was pathetic. Spinach leaves w/ 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and 3 strawberries. I'm back on my crash diet.... obviously.

A turkey burger sans bun and some kind of veggie. Maybe marinated cucumbers.

Nicole, I could not survive on that....
I'm currently stuffing my face right now because I'm watching the Canucks game and my nerves are shot. This could be it for them tonight but they're now leading so I'm going nuts.

I couldn't survive either, Nicole! I would be adding sunflower seeds, nuts, chicken or something....and then an hour later chewing on a loaf of French bread.
Dieting is hard and it sucks. Vicious cycle.
My problem is ALWAYS portion control and going back for 2nds....and 3rds....

My problem is I'm a stress eater. I lost all the baby wait plus more when I was on mat leave but as soon as I went back to work I gained all the weight right back again. I have a very stressful job and I just can't stop eating.

I just got woke up by the apartment people beating the crap out of my door. You'd think they were cops. All to tell me they weren't going to spray for wasps because they don't want to piss them off. They flew up into the siding above my door. I'm terrified of those and bees.

I need to vent! I am working on this special project at work and there are 5 of us doing it. We were told from the beginning that overtime would likely be required because of deadlines and such. No problem! I've been getting here at 7am and working through lunch and then leaving at 4:30 or 5:00. The point is, I am working the hours necessary to get the project done. It's due today at 5pm and I finished my portion about 90 minutes ago and then volunteered to take on an additional task. So I finish that too and my co-worker who is heading up the project for us comes over to me and says "Do you think you'd be able to take on a few more loans? Looks like we may need to load level because H and K (2 co-workers) don't know if they will finish by the end of the day.".
I am PISSED! Can I take on a few more to help out? Sure. But why the hell didn't those girls manage their time better? Why weren't they here early? Why didn't they work through their lunches? And the thing that annoys me the most is one of them just chit chats all darn day and cares more about socializing than anything else. The other one is a smoker and I like her a lot, but maybe if she hadn't taken 12 smoke breaks over the last couple of days, she would have had over an hour more to dedicate to getting the project done.
And because I volunteer for all the special projects and work harder than 95% of the people in my department and do it all with a smile on my face, I feel like I get taken advantage of. But what else can I do? I want to move up! I'm just irritated.

Nicole...I sure hope your hard work is noticed and remembered by the people in management when time for raises rolls around.
I've heard several workplace stories like yours. It's always one or two people breaking their backs while others slack off. And nothing seems to happen to them either.

Liz, you know I watched Grey's.
Sitting here waiting on my mom to watch the boys so we can get to lawyers office for our closing. We asked her to be here at 9, she didn't leave her house til 9:15. ugh. I hate depending on other people. I would have just rather taken the kids with us than be late and delay things and be late, but Josh didnt' want to.
