Are you all ready for these storms tonight?!?
I was in the process of getting our 72 grab and go emergency bags and this popped up! I didnt have anything prepared for this!!! So we ran to the commissary and px to grab some things we might need. Water/batteries/flashlight/emergency weather radio/canned food...
I mean I am no newb to tornadoes but I am freakin out!!! I need a Valium or a whole bottle of wine!!

I usually don't get nervous, but I'm nervous about this one.
Our basement isn't finished but I'm seriously thinking about all of us sleeeping down there tonight. I'm going to Walmart to get everything on my list now, bc I'm not leaving the house after 5 tonight.

If you have life jackets or bike helmets those are good to have on if a tornado touches down. Extra padding from debris. Keep those phones charged and have some emergency cash on hand too in case power is out for a few days and y'all need to get out. Have the cars gassed up. Stay safe!

Yes one just touched down in Salina which is 45 minutes away! 
I probably won't sleep either. I am going to try though. Being stressed/anxious is making me exhausted!!
And dh is just shrugging it off!

I am about | | close to tears! Which is weird for me... The warning is over in 10 minutes though so I am going to be ok. I must be hiding it pretty well b/c Bella is oblivious. Thank goodness!
I think we are just putting the air mattresses up and sleeping in the laundry room tonight!

Everything I'm reading on the news sounds so dang scary! I would imagine night tornadoes when its completely dark out are even scarier.

Yeah sleeping in the laundry room probably isn't a bad idea. When we have tornados touching down near us I wear the dogs in the moby wrap in hopes of them not blowing away. Haha
Plus we have to drug rilo since he is such a mess anyway. But being snuggled in the moby makes him feel better.
How are your dogs doing?

They are doing ok so far. Chico was a little nervous when we were outside, but I think it was just the wind. He hates air blowing on him. I could go to sleep right now. I am exhausted. I know when I lay down though my mind will keep me awake.
I think I am going to have a glass of wine.
