we recv'd a call tonight that dh's dad had passed away He lives out of state, and was in Washington on business, we have no details, not even cause. DH is in shock I think He went to bed and I just can't sleep.....

Thank you guys. We still aren't sure what caused his passing There has been mention of him having a blod clot in his lung, and he had early stage emphyesema(Sp) not sure yet. With his body being in Washington state and his family being in Missouri, us being in Ohio it is hard to get all details now. We are just waiting to her when arrangments will be, and what we are going to do, fly, drive, take Vi, don't take Vi....... lots to decide.

Thanks everyone. I guess we sill aren't clear on details, it is a believed blood clot. We are flying out on Wed. and Violet will stay with my aunt I feel like a selfish horrible person b/c I am crying about leaving her Like full on crying/anxiety. bUt dh thinks it isn't a place/event for her, not to mentioned $400 more for her to fly too...... I have only been away from her for one night, not even 24 hrs, so this is going to be very hard. And I feel bad for worrying about this, when there is a bigger issue at hand, dh's father

Here is what we know. He was vomiting on Thur. and didn't go to work, he did go to work on Friday and then Sat. night dh's stepmom could not get ahold of him, an then called the hotel, made them check on him and ultimtely he was found unconscious
He had early stages of emphysema, on rx for high blood pressure, some kind of betablocker, something fo seizures which dh does not understand........
So throwing up Thur and passed away Sat. Wish we could get an answer..... not sure if she wants an autopsy either.
We booked flights, and Vi will in fact stay with my aunt, who is awesome with her. But I have soooo many worries, I am terrified of flying, especially both me and dh on one flight, worried she will get sick while we are gone, or be bad the entire time b/c she has been grumpy due to some teeth coming in, worried she won't want to come home I know when we are there and with his brother and his kids, I will be "jealous"
but I know dh would rather her stay, and so I want to respect that and be there for him, he said he will add her if I want, but I think I will suck it up for him.
