If you were writing an instruction manual for using Facebook, what would you include in your list of things NOT to post for the world (or your friends list) to see?

For example:
"My husband is out of town this week and I'm home alone with the kids. Really wising we had installed that security system LOL!"

Here's my ludacris political belief that I copy and pasted from some other idiot!!!

ie: Obama isn't an American!!

Facebook is gonna start charging money!!!

Repost this horrible video of child abuse and the child gets a penny for each video!!

Cryptic passive aggressive updates about other people. .. Either air all of your dirty laundry for my entertainment or don't post at all.

Pictures of your kids doing things that aren't age appropriate or are dangerous while looking for comments about how cute or grown up they are

Examples: infants drinking soda... One year olds in booster seats... Etc

I'm guilty of this but did it in rage and then deleted it.
Things about how much of a sorry *** your baby daddy is. I realize by seeing other people that it is kind of trashy, regardless if how sorry the sob may be.

I agree with all of these. Relationship/family drama is one of my pet peeves.

I HATE it when people post cryptic half messages about what they're really trying to say. If you can't say it, don't post it. I won't bite and ask you about it.

Offensive posts about coworkers/bosses (who are also on your friends list).

Pictures of illegal activity.

Your entire medical history.

I have a friend from school that posts like 5 a day of those like inspirational pictures with some sort of uplifting writing on it....I blocked her posts.

I hate when people post what they are doing every second of the day and also tag themselves at every store/restaurant.

And I don't like when people say stuff like......Having a bad day or This sucks or I know something you don't know.....and then people comment and their like.....I don't want to talk about it or I can't tell you or whatever.....annoying!

I don't have many people who post drama....thank baby Jesus.

I found out today that I shouldn't bring up anything about wether or not it is harder to be a stay at home mom or a working mom. Ooooooppps, I was having a bad morning I kept it semi civil, lettting everyone know it was solely just my opinion

I agree with all above. I hate the ones who pretty much want people to ask whats this about, or is everything ok, and then don't want people in their business!! Then why post to FB??!?!

The only hard part about staying home for me was the mind-numbing boredom because I'm just not cut out for the job. Not saying I'm so awesome at being a working mom either as I'm sitting here with a pile of debris scattered around my living room.

On FB I hate:

Continual political and religious posts. Don't get up on your FB soapbox several times every day and post. We all have our own views.

I know PETA and animal rescue people are very involved and do good work, but daily posts and graphic videos are over the top.

Posts from FB games I don't play. There used to be a way to block these but something has changed and I can't.

I love:

Family photos of any kind. It's a wonderful way to stay in touch with people I may never see again IRL.

Topical posts ...about a current news event or tragedy when the poster knows nothing more about it than what they see everyone else posting (i.e. Kony 2012)....just for the sake of "spreading the message".

Relationship/family drama.

Ugly pictures. those blury ones that show nothing flattering or "nice" about the pic.

Girls posing with duck lips.

Political/religious debates.

....and people who jump in conversations that they weren't really invited to (one-on-one convo between two people)

What? No duck lips? LOL

I have this guy who is kinda family.and he posts the same tthing over and over but maybe worded different several times within an hour and always hashtags it. I just don't understand the multiple posts that say the same thing.

Hashtags on Facebook annoy me. I know some people use Friendcaster type apps that post to FB and Twitter simultaneously, but you don't need to be posting the same crap on every social networking site.

And I would totally post duck lip pics if I had lips.

You have no lips?

Hashtags definitely annoy me, especially when you need several in one status update.

It pisses me off when people post cheesy phrases to try to show they are over something when they clearly aren't. All.the.time.
It is probably only done in Spanish though because I haven't seen so much crap in any other language.
Example: "I love it when people speak behind my back, it means I'm ahead"
WHO CARES IF YOU ARE BEING CRITICIZED!!!
You are not ahead, you are just a dumb bimbo for not having the guts to confront the person you know or believe is criticizing you. And I would actually respect you a whole lot more if you had the balls to say it like it is... But hiding behind stupid phrases makes me wanna punch you. Repeatedly.

/end rant/
