It's only happened to me when I'm pregnant, but this past week my ankles starting hurting and I couldn't even walk up/down stairs. They are swollen and I have pitting! I've diagnosed myself with pitting edema. I'm calling my dr in the morning. Hopefully they can get me in right away. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My right ankle swells up now and then. I attribute it to my bad sprain about 4 years ago.

Meg, mine are super swollen and I gained 8lbs overnight. I talked to my doc at work today and he thinks I put myself into rhabdomyolysis from working out too hard! Have you been working out?

When its really hot out I sometimes wake up feeling like my feet are puffy- but they don't look that puffy. My ring is harder to get off in the summer and sometimes it leaves a mark. I think it night have to do with the temp though.

Yes. Usually in the summertime and depending on the type of shoes I wear and what I am doing.

took 4 vials of blood, got 2 prescriptions, testing me for autoimmune diseases and a host of other things. Dr freaked out when I told her about my change of medical history (sister's brain aneurysm...uncle and dad had it too)...she immediately ordered a CAT scan and MRI w/ dye of my brain, head, and neck.

Blood work came back today.
Autoimmune diseases--negative
Uric Acid (gout)--negative
Complete Blood Work--all is normal

I'm on 2 Rx----11 pills so far and nothing is working, nothing as changed. I'm still swollen---everything is the same. UGH! &$(#^(%^#(^%*(#^%(*^

Called the dr, waiting to hear back.

Did schedule my CT scan for next week.
