Do you have a heat wave headed your way? What's the weather forecast look like in your neck of the woods?

---

This pregnancy has me totally intolerable to the heat and Friday the high is 102, Saturday 104, and Sunday 103, which of course is not including potential heat index. Its pretty possible I might just flat out die.

Every day is a heat wave in the summer here. Just crank up the a/c and hunker down for a few days.

it was pretty hot yesterday - 97ish. But i think the rest of the week its suppose to stay in the lower 90s. Which isnt terrible. I've said this before...but the thing that kills me is humidity. I hate humidity. I'd love to move to California.

Been in a heat wave all week and next week. It's dangerous. Heat index of 108. I've been outside a max of 10 minutes in the last 5 days.

Upper 80's here all week, tomorrow a high of 98. But it's been cooling down at night and it really doesn't feel that hot. It's not too humid yet. Nothing like the temps some of y'all are having.

We have been in one all week. We have had an excessive heat advisory for the last few days..
We have had triple digits and it is supposed to 106 today. I haven't been leaving the house until after 6 pm unless needed. I took the dogs for a walk at 9pm last night. lol

It's 104 here at the moment. I need to go running today, but I am drinking water like crazy and I won't go until evening.

Shannon you should totally move to BC. The weather map is showing clouds and/or rain for the next 4 days at least with a high of about 71 degrees. We haven't even hit summer yet.

It's pretty hot here. 5:30pm 99 degrees heat index of 101. But that's pretty normal for this time of year. 2 days ago an 11 month old died from being left in his dads car for 6hrs

My phone says its 109 currently and "feels like" 111 so that must be the index? Our house faces east so sunlight POURS in the back of the house about this time until 7pm and of course, our family room and master bedroom are in the back of the house. The a/c is set at 72 and has been running non-stop since 8am or so and our current temp inside is maybe 78? It's impossible to cool this house down!

It was 85 by about 9a this morning and it's humid here too. It got up to about 90 today. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 94 without the heat index by about noon!

We use darkening curtains that seem to help. Ive actually considered having all our windows tented. We have huge windows with zero shade. Its so bright and hot. I'm scared of my electric bill next month. July/Aug are always the worst.

I think heat index is the same as what it feels like. Or at least our weather always has those two as the same temp.

I was going to recommend black out curtains too. Bella's room used to get so hot before I put some blackout curtains up.
Her room is upstairs and they did the duct work all wrong so the upstairs stays hot. So I put blackout curtains on all the windows and I run our fans on low just to keep the air circulating.

I guess the heat is here now. It's humid and in the 90's....it just doesn't feel bad because we've been in the pool all day.......but there is a heat advisory out.

109 w/ 16% humidity which is pretty low, but it feels soooo muggy here! I feel awful for those of you in humid states suffering through the heat wave!
