How does your LO do in a restaurant? Do yu dread taking them or do they go often? Do they get their own meal or share yours? Do you ask for a highchair or booster or do they just sit normally?

It's hit or miss. We won't go if Chase is tired or cranky. He will get his own meal & sit normally.
We don't go out as often anymore as I feel like we can have a better meal at home most of the time.

We haven't been to a restaurant as a family in MONTHS. My Mom and Aunt and I took Major and my nephew out to lunch last week and they did pretty good together. We got one of those round corner booths and they both stood up in the booth a lot, but I don't really mind as long as they're not acting like fools. Major never sits in a highchair or booster and we always order him his own meal. He eats a lot and I'm too greedy to share.

Kelen's usually pretty good. He gets his own meal, though he doesn't always eat it. He hasn't been a booster or highchair in about a year. He always wants out.

Eli's fine but we only go to family restaurants and will only go in if they can seat us right away. We sit in a booth so he's blocked in and try for a booth that doesn't that's up against the wall because if there's someone on the other side of the booth he'll spend the whole time trying to make friends and generally being annoying. He sits in a booster chair sometimes but most of the time he prefers to kneel in the booth. Most of the restaurants are pretty good with providing crayons and bringing his food out asap.

How does your LO do in a restaurant? Really well, usually no issues.
Do you dread taking them or do they go often? We go often. She's used to going out to Japanese, Thai or Vietnamese restaurants with my friends and I and our kids. I don't hesitate to bring her with me.
Do they get their own meal or share yours? Depends on where we go. If it's a "family style" place, then I get her a kids meal. If it's sushi (all you can eat), she's free, so I order whatever I think she'll eat.
Do you ask for a highchair or booster or do they just sit normally? I still put her in a highchair sometimes. If it's a closed booth, then she can sit in there with us. If it's more open, I opt for a booster. I know the highchair days are numbered....

How does your LO do in a restaurant? Trey does really well in a restaurant. Both kids do, actually.
Do you dread taking them or do they go often? We go out to eat often. We go out to dinner with friends, and out with the family, and every other weekend or so, we go out for breakfast just the 4 of us.
Do they get their own meal or share yours? Like shannon said, if we're at a family restaurant, we'll order him something off the kids menu. If we're at a sushi restaurant or mexican, something like that, we order his meal off the "a la carte" section. But we would all be leaving hungry if we just let him share off our dish - he's a big eater.
Do you ask for a highchair or booster or do they just sit normally? Trey always sits in a booster seat. he cant really see over the table to eat properly if he's not in a booster.

How does your LO do in a restaurant? He does pretty good. We went out Monday and had no issues. Some times we have to make a visit to the restroom area to remind him we are in a restaurant. We just talk and he is fine after that.
Do you dread taking them or do they go often? No and yes we eat out at least once a week
Do they get their own meal or share yours? Do you ask for a highchair or booster or do they just sit normally? I will ask for a booster but I let him decide if he wants to use it. It depends on where we are if he will get his own meal.

I seriously hit the jackpot with this kid. He's such a good kid.
How does your LO do in a restaurant? Always awesome, never a problem. A&L can be the problem---kicking each other under the table.
Do you dread taking them or do they go often? We go out about once a week.
Do they get their own meal or share yours? Do you ask for a highchair or booster or do they just sit normally? Never a highchair or booster any more. He sits on his butt the entire time and doesn't bug a soul. If were eating Mexican, give him his own chips and a bowl of salsa and he won't make a peep the entire time.

We take her out to eat at least once or twice a week, and she's usually pretty good. She may or may not eat, but she doesn't usually throw fits or cause a scene. We still ask for a high chair or booster (depending on the place), but she's starting to resist sitting in high chairs.
