my biggest complaint today is that i have a drs appointment this afternoon that i forgot about & i wore heavy clothes when i know I have a dr appt, i always dress in the lightest clothes possible, knowing i'll be weighed. And i usually bring a pair of flip flops to change into, because i dont like to be weighed wearing my clunky Dr Martins that i have to wear to work.

“Having a child is surely the most beautifully irrational act that two people in love can commit.”

I don't know, nothing major. Kids wouldn't stop getting up from the table when we were trying to do school lessons. It was driving me crazy. I used to make them do a chore every time they got up without asking and it worked pretty well. I'd really prefer them just stay put on their own, but some days just can't!
They terminated two of my coworkers today, while another one is on vacation. May not seem like a big deal but that makes us extremely short staffed and as of right now I'm working by myself Friday. Hmph
We've had house guests since Friday. Who have an extremely under socialized 2.5 year old who has likely never heard the word no in her life & has never been encouraged to play on her own. Talk about stress eating my week away
AND. We haven't seen these people since the girl was 5 months old. So we had already invited them on our Florida trip. Jokes on us now. FML. No way to cancel them now.
House guests= Dh's brother, his wife & the kid. I guess we should have waited until after this visit (they live in Texas) to invite them. It was ALL DH's idea.
