he used to say "T-R-Y! Trey!" forgetting the E completely, but now he wont even do that.

Yes, he just recently learned. We turned it into a little game like the nursery rhyme Bingo (B-I-N-G-O) but used the letters of his name.

Nicole that's a good idea!
J knows all the letters to her name except the "e"...she often gets stuck on that letter. She has her name over her bed in big foam letters so she'll point and try to spell it out. Any time she sees the letter J anywhere she has to say "J is for Jenna!"

Dakota can't spell her name. It's "D-R-I". Clearly she's very confused and needs some work!;-)

Yes, she always shouts it "A-L-E-E-Y-A I spelled me!" the other day she goes "M-O-M, I just spelled Dad!" so we've got to work on that one .

No, makes me wish I picked a shorter name, lol. She knows the A comes first & she knows most of the letters that are in her name but not the order they're in yet.

Yesterday he told me A-V-A spells Ava. Today Lucas was reading and sounding out the word EAR....He was saying EhhhhhRRRR, and Jude says "It's EAR!" OMG!
