recieve advice from well meaning people who really haven't got a clue?
Do you correct them in their wrongness or do you just smile and take the advice.

Not *too* often, but yeah... when people give me stupid advice, I'm usually pretty quick to correct them. That's especially true of grandparents or people who may be in charge of my kids at some point. I don't want them doing something stupid when I'm not there.

In the beginning I was getting frusterated by women who kept giving me advice from when they had gestational diabetes. type 2 diabetes in pregnancy isn't the same!!! But now that I have hit past 14 weeks it is past the bad point and turns into more similar circumstances to gestational. at least until the very end. When risks of stillbirth are high in diabetics for some reason, they don't know why the babies just spontaneously pass. also I am less emotional so i think that helps my patience as well, LOL.

It does not happen too often with me. When it does I always correct the person, but I am very nice about it.

I've been lucky to not have "advice" given. I pretty much would smile and say OK lol..
