I'm so sorry that I haven't been keeping up here! I haven't updated you ladies on how I'm doing in ages!
I'm relatively well, no serious issues. I had been having quite a bit of swelling, and calf pain, very similar to when I had my clot. I let it go on for a week, upping my water, potassium and calcium intakes; but the pain changed from possible the feeling that a charlie horse might be upon me to that biting pinching feeling of when my clot hit. I was also having pain in my veins kind of all over, including my fore-arms. So I was sent for another vascular doppler. It did not show any clots, but the gal did say that I had some angry veins; whatever that means. So irritated veins due to pregnancy was the guestimation. Just to be on the safe side my Peri upped my Lovenox, so now I'm on 40mg 2x a day. I've got to say I wasn't thrilled about that, and I'm having a hard time getting the 12 hr timing down; but after a few days of doubling the dose the pain in my veins and calves has pretty much subsided. So whatever that means, it does appear that it's working and I'm feeling quite a bit better (even the swelling in my ankles has improved.
Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good. Getting those normal pg issues, like bending over to tie my shoes is getting more difficult, and I've developed a waddle. I keep wondering if I'm just beginning to be uncomfortable now, how am I going to feel come Christmas and January. I know how I'll feel, I'm just not looking forward to it; I'm ready for that part to fly by so I can have my little girl in my arms.
Speaking of little girls, she still is one. I'm sure the u/s techs at my Peri's office are going to get tired of me asking that everytime I come in. She's also been named. Isabella Marie But we'll call her Ella.
I honestly can't think of much else. I have pretty continuous mentrual like cramps. I've been checked out for that too, and they don't seem to be "active" cramps, not affecting my cervix or Miss Ella. They're keeping an eye on that at the Dr's too. We're wondering if it's not related to my Celiac disease and the gastro-intestinal issues that I'm having. (I'm not being a good celiac person during pregnancy, it's soooo hard *whining*)
OK, really, I can't think of anything else. I do have pics, including a 3D of her, and I'm hoping to get those on a disc soon. When I do I'll come show them off.
