I'm just wondering if there's any others around that have had this SUA cord aka two vessel cord. I'm told there can be some issues with it...also told there are tons of women that have this and they have NO problems whatsoever. Just wondering if anyone has anything to share on this that might calm me down...i'm 35 weeks and this is my fourth child and this is one problem i didn't have with the others...

Hi. I had a two vessel cord with my first pg. It can be associated with other problems but it's usually just an incidental finding. My 2 vessel cord was noted at my 20 week US. To be on the safe side I was sent to a fetal cardiac specialist. Everything was fine and I delivered a healthy son. Unless you have other markers I wouldn't be overly concerned. Congrats on your pg and try not to worry.

I didn't have that. But I had total blockage of one artery and almost total blockage of the other. My son was born healthy. It's hard but try not to worry.

I'm not too worried....the ultrasounds have all been perfect...just can't get that nagging worry out of my mind. But i have 4 weeks max to go...i'm kinda hoping i get to have her a lil early...i've read that with this they tend to take the baby a bit early to prevent stillbirth...i'm not worried about a stillbirth...just sick of being preggers at this point!
