I was cramping pretty bad today so I went in to the Dr. the NST showed two contractions while there even though I was feeling more(prepared for that since the same thing happened with the boys) the Dr. checked me and I'm a finger tip dilated. Now the part that made me mad is she wouldn't discuss meds to stop contractions she said it was up to the Cardiologist and Peri as to what they do and I don't see the Peri until Monday. This is the same dr who was cursed out by the cardiologist and peri when I went into pre-term labor with Jon because she gave me mag without consulting them.

I'm sorry to hear that you are contracting and dilated. Can you get mag at the ER? I'm not a doctor, but waiting that long doesn't seem like a great option.

wow it must be frustrating with all the different opinions and doctors. ONE IS ENOUGH! I mean if your contractions arent too close together it shouldnt be that bad...

Can you try to contact your PERI? finger tip dialated isnt too bad so dont worry just try to call peri and fill them in and ask if you should worry and about the med's to stop contractions.

No more contractions tonight but my back is killing me. This major problem with having so many Dr's is noone hardly ever agrees or talks to the others.
DH is freaking out because I've nesting.

I saw the Cardiologist today he had me come in and he gave me procardia. He was upset with the OB and I have to call him after I call the OB from now on.

Well, I'm glad that he got some meds on board. I'm sorry you have to get bounced around to get them though.

He's a great Dr and he doesn't expect any problems with my heart but since I'm contracting and dilating some he wants me to have the steriod shots before my Echo on the 30th.

How much will the steroid shots mess with your sugar?
