It's now tomorow! I've been contracting since Friday, and he's so low he's putting pressure on the stitch so it's coming out before I have problems. I can't believe it's time already!

Chances are I won't be sent home. They are thinking my cervix will open quite a bit just from the pressure of his head and I'll be in labor in a few hours.

All of the above! The stitch is out, the spinal is wearing off and I am contracting. If my cervix changes we'll stay and have a baby. If not we'll go home.

He has changed our minds. I got sent home. I am still contracting, but not much of a pattern and no cervical change. But at least now I get to be a pretty normal laboring woman. I don't have to run in at the first sign of a pattern!

Alright! At what point does your doctor have normal laboring women go in? (I haven't had a normal labor yet, I was induced.)

He wants me to be a little conservative and head in when my contractions are 5-8 minutes depending on strength. He usually tells moms 3-5 minutes but with a vbac he wants me on the monitor earlier instead of later. But I'm just excited about not running in too early and being stuck on their time clock.

You know my sister in law enjoyed laboring at home with her first so much that she's having a midwife assisted home birth with her second in August!

Good luck with your VBAC, keep us posted - I'll be thinking about you!

Thanks, I'll have my puter in the hospital too so I'll be updating as we go.
