No Dr has ever mentioned if there's a relation between recurrent pregnancy loss and preterm births. I wonder if all the losses I have had has affected my cervix.

multiple D&Cs can affect your cervix, but it's being forcibly dialated each time. If your body is naturally misscarrying or you are legitimately giving birth each time it shouldn't affect your cervix.

Throughout history, women have experienced recurrent pregnancy loss and have gone on to have multiple healthy babies. The history of European royalty is a pet subject of mine, and there are so many examples of women who experienced frequent miscarriage and stillbirth and and also healthy babies delivered at term. That was considered normal until 50 years ago or so.

But I worry too, that one loss will cause another, and then another. My doctor's tell me that this isn't so, but I worry all the same.
