My name is mandiewnc I was new to the high risk pregnancy board. My water broke on Friday morning around six I woke up in it. I was tranfered to labor and delivery and monitored all day. Nothing happened I was put back on strict bed rest no bathroom privilages. On Saturday I was about to get a sponge bath and my cord prolapsed. I was rushed to emergency C-section and my son was born. He was 25 and 5. He came out bueatiful. His APGAR was 8 he weighs 2lbs. and 6oz. and he is 15 inches long!!! He is amazing . As of today he is 26 weeks he is off the breathing machine they have started to feed him and he is sucking a passie. I am so happy with his progress. Just a little update i really enjoyed this site and learned alot from some of he ladies I wish someone had conacted me . Good luck to everyone!!!

Congrats! I'm glad he's doing so well, and he's a good size for under 26 weeks! I hope he continues to make great progress.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and thoughts. Here is a quick update. Connor Hughes Patton is 3 weeks old today! He is now 2lbs and14 oz 15 and 3/4 in long! He is amazing he is breathing on his own and has opened his eyes. I love him so much. I may be able to bring him home in early November.
