Most of my family seemed very happy, but very cautious, I guess because we had several miscarriages prior to this pregnancy so they were afraid to be excited, I pretty much expected them to react the way they did honestly
Both sides of the family, as well s friends, were completely and totally shocked and surprised. We never expected to conceive again, so everyone was so happy for us. The grandparents, especially, were really happy. I think people were a bit guarded for our sake but it didn't really show.
My family was THRILLED when we announced our first pregnancy to them, only because they knew what we were going through (and for how long we were going through it) in order to get pregnant in the first place.
This time around, they were shocked yet happy because we didn't do any fertility treatments ... this one was very surprisingly and miraculously conceived 'au naturale'
Thank you to Jaidynsmum for my beautiful siggie!

I got about the worst reaction you can get.
I gave my mom a framed US pic for Mother's Day. This was her reaction:
"Whose is this?" (Realizing it was mine)
"I thought you were not supposed to get pregnant?"
"I thought you were never having kids?"
Needless to say, not the reaction I wanted. Once she realized that I was already nearly out of the 1st trimester and that I was being monitored very closely she was able to calm down and was super excited. The rest of my family was excited from the beging, though still worried about my health.
