I just had my 6 week follow up appointment since giving birth to my little guy. I've been told to discontinue my lovenox shots YAY!

I got my prescription through mail order and am left with 4 unopened boxes. 40 injectons total. I hate to just chuck hem into the garbage because they are so expensive.

Anyone have any suggestions? My dr and pharmacist were no help whatsoever.

Maybe check with a local clinic or health department?

Yea you can call around and see if anyone will take a donation of the extra. Some clinics and health departments will especially if they have a high expiration date. I have the same problem. I have 3 weeks of Heparin and 3 weeks of Lovenox that do me no good.

When I was ttc I was having trouble getting my insurance to cover my Lovenox. There were 2 ladies on here that had extra and were willing to give them to me/sell them to me for the cost of their co-pay.

It was a Godsend. I would not have been able to ttc if it had not been for them.
