So... my neighbor asked me - and I had never thought to think of it myself... after we are all done with our weekly Uma Thurman in Pulp Fictionesque stabbing shots, after we are wildly successful with huge healthy babies... are we more at risk for porstpartum given the inevitable "hormone crash"? Because with twins coming (maybe...) that's ALL i need.

Anyone, Anyone??

I don't know actually. I don't take progesterone shots (just the pills in the first tri) but because I am at high risk for PPD due to a mood disorder, my doctor is probably putting me on the birth control pill to help replace some of the hormones I lose after the baby is born.

It's interesting, isnt it? I'm glad your dr is being proactive with you and creating a plan. I'm going to check in with mine Thursday and ask as well.
