Hello Ladies my name is Jaime and i had a Mcdonald Cerclage placed in at 21 weeks ....i am now almost 32 weeks...and my dr wants to take my suture out at my 36 week appointment...they put me to sleep when they put it in, but she says i will be fully awake when the take it out at her office...i am just curious as to if anyone has had this procedure done and if it is painful....and how exactly they take it out...IM SCARED TO DEATH!!!

I had a cerclage too. When my doc removed it at 36 weeks, I just felt a big cramp. It was really no big deal to me.
