Hi! I am currently pregnant, about 4weeks now, and I have a question. I have been bleeding for 8 days now. I had three blood test and my levels keep going up so the dr isn't too concerned. I will be going in on Thursday for blood and sono. Has anyone bled during early pregnancy?

Hi,

Congradulations!

I have never bled during pregnancy, but I know alot of women do and have big healthy babies in spite of it. If your doc isn't concerned I would try not to be either.

Try to request an ultrasound as soon as possible to try to pinpoint where the bleeding is coming from.

The cervix can get very sensitive during pg too, so sex and such might cause bleeding or spotting.

Good luck, I hope everything turns out good for you and your baby!

Hi and welcome to high risk! I am no longer high risk as i am holding my son in my arms lol. I bled for 10 weeks while i was pregnant! Due to Partail placenta Abruption! My so was born with no problems and is in great health he was 6lbs 15.8 oz. Keep an eye on your bleeding if it gets heavier than it is call your Drs and make sure all is ok!

Thank you all for your responses. I did however have a miscarriage on Friday. This was my 3rd m/c. I still have hope that someday I will have a little one of my own.
